We are delighted to announce that our first ‘Open House Event’ of 2015 was a huge success!
It all began in September last year when we where invited out to this detached property in Locks Heath to provide a market appraisal and valuation.
The vendor told us from the beginning that they did not plan to move until 2015 and that they had already had several valuations from other local companies.
Having been the family home for over 20 years and faced with the challenge of a considerable downsize, the plan was to get an idea well in advance so that they could make their necessary arrangements for moving.
Earlier this month both the vendors and ourselves agreed that we would hold an ‘Open House Event’ on Saturday 24th January, enabling us to extensively market the property for just over two weeks and to call all of our potential buyers.
With the sun shining (luckily) the day of ‘Open Event’ arrived, with a record number of potential buyers attending.
An offer was quickly revived and we are delighted to announce that a sale was agreed later that afternoon.
